Bob W got started in Finland a year ago, expanded to Estonia in mid-2019 and plans to grow to 1,000 living spaces across Northern Europe and the Baltics within the next 18 months. The execution of our super ambitious growth plan is fuelled by major investments from top-tier VCs and real estate private equity firms.

Our newly established Operations team will drive the best-in-class operations and sales developments by initiating and implementing new processes and creating a large network of partners and customers. We are building a soul of this business and we need extraordinary people to run our business locally.

As an Operations Specialist, you will take responsibility for launching and executing our operations locally. You will closely collaborate with the Country Manager and our international Operations, Growth and Product teams to drive successful business of Bob W.

 

In this role you will: 

  • Perform housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks in our properties to ensure that hospitality standards are met consistently and robust feedback to our partners is relayed in a timely fashion
  • Assist with inventory duties such as preparing turnover kits, receiving deliveries, and tracking linen/consumables use
  • Troubleshoot minor maintenance and technology issues (e.g., upholstery stain removal, light bulb replacements, access to units, wifi connectivity or overseeing contractor appointments)
  • Resolve guest issues and assist with special requests
  • Provide daily feedback to all teams on improvement opportunities both in guest and employee experience
  • Assist in continuous improvement, project design and implementation
  • Execute and update standard operating procedures to support team execution
  • Analyse trends to optimise operations and to proactively address potential guest issues
  • Prioritize, delegate, execute, and support day-to-day tasking to ensure world-class guest experience and team accountability
  • Manage reservations and payments in our property management system


What we look for: 

  • 2+ years of experience working in housekeeping management, hospitality, guest service, general operations or similar fields*
  • Extremely optimistic and independent mindset
  • Proactivity and ability to split big tasks into smaller ones 
  • Organised, guest satisfaction and outcome oriented thinking
  • Strong problem solving skills with ability to predict them and act proactively
  • Perfect analytical skills and data-driven approach. You know what data do you need to make a decision, you can find a way to get this data and you have skills to process this data
  • Ability to lift/carry items and stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Perfect English and Finnish communication skills
  • Very good learned ready to acquire new information/software quickly
  • Experience in working with mobile apps, project management and excel-like tools
  • Comfort in independent problem solving with the humility to ask for help when needed
  • Strong team player
