The role
Our newly established Operations team in Cologne drives best-in-class guest satisfaction, product quality and operational efficiency by managing our apartments and network of partners, initiating and implementing new processes and going the extra mile for our customers. The Operations team is building the soul of this business, and we need extraordinary people to run our business locally.
As an Operations Specialist, you will take responsibility for executing our operations locally. Being the face of Bob W, you live and breathe Bob W’s mission and vision when assisting our guests. You will closely collaborate with different teams to drive the successful business of Bob W.
In this role you will:
- Perform housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks in our properties to ensure that hospitality standards are met consistently and feedback to our partners is relayed in a timely fashion.
- Assist our guests in close cooperation with the guest success team, always going beyond and above to exceed their expectations and make each stay memorable.
- Follow and manage reservations and payments in our property management system.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance and technology issues (e.g. apartment access, equipment replacements or WiFi connectivity).
- Assist with inventory duties such as preparing special guest surprises, receiving deliveries, and tracking linen/consumables use.
- Collect, analyse and act upon guest feedback and provide information about feedback to other teams regarding improvement opportunities in the guest experience.
- Communicate with third-party partners (e.g. cleaning, maintenance, laundry, security, breakfast and gym).
- Assist in continuous improvement and design of standard operating procedures to increase team efficiency.
- Prioritize, delegate, execute, and support day-to-day tasking to ensure world-class guest experience and team accountability.

- Is extremely optimistic and passionate about offering our guests a 5-star experience.
- Has top-notch oral and written communication skills in English and German. Russian language skills are considered beneficial.
- Is a goal-oriented self-starter who enjoys tackling problems and tasks in a proactive and organized manner.
- Pays high attention to detail and wants to achieve the highest standards of apartment quality, consistently taking ownership of guest satisfaction.
- Is a strong team player and able to work also evening and weekend shifts as well as night on-call to ensure our guests have required support 24/7.
- Has the ability to lift/carry items and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Is passionate about self-development and eager to grow professionally.
- Is tech-savvy and ready to acquire new information/software skills quickly.
- It is considered beneficial to have experience working in hospitality, housekeeping management, guest service, general operations or similar fields.
