The Role

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Hospitality Operations Specialist at Bob W in Lübeck!
At Bob W Lübeck, you'll play a crucial role as the sole on-site team member. You won’t just provide support - you’ll own the daily operations of the building, taking charge of any issues that arise, from internet connectivity or smoke detector malfunctions to leaks or supplier coordination. While you won’t need to fix these issues yourself, your ability to manage problems effectively and follow them through to resolution is essential. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, responsible, and independent, ready to be the go-to person on the ground.

In this role, you will:
- Provide world-class experiences for our guests, ensuring that they always choose Bob over booking a hotel when they travel.
- Act as the key on-site operator in Lübeck, independently managing the day-to-day running of the property and responding to issues as they arise.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges such as maintenance needs, connectivity issues, or safety system alerts by coordinating the right partners and following up until resolved.
- Conduct thorough housekeeping quality audits to maintain our ridiculously high cleanliness standards for guests and manage our supplier partnerships.
- Perform regular property inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs and ensure our product quality remains top-notch.
- Manage Health & Safety compliance within your assigned property.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and support the implementation of Bob's standard operating procedures.
Our 5-star candidate has:
- Preferably, 1+ year of experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in operations roles.
- A proactive and independent working style, paired with a strong sense of responsibility - comfortable being the primary on-site operator, fully accountable for managing unexpected challenges and coordinating solutions with external partners.
- Passionate, customer service-driven attitude for delivering world-class guest experiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and manage operational issues calmly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Fluency in both German and English is required.
