The Role
We are looking for someone who brings positive energy and a can-do attitude to every task, whether working independently or as part of a team. As a Hospitality Operations Specialist (Night), you are the first point of contact for our guests during the night hours (23:00 - 07:00). You’ll ensure smooth, safe, and secure overnight operations while delivering outstanding guest service and handling any issues with calm professionalism. This role is a blend of front office duties, safety checks, and operational support.
NB! This position is initially offered as a 6-month contract.
In this role, you will:
- Welcome and assist late arrivals and early departures with check-in/out procedures.
- Provide excellent guest service and respond to inquiries, issues, or emergencies promptly and professionally.
- Monitor building security, conduct regular walk-throughs of the property, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare the reception area and public spaces for the morning shift.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed.
- Support operational needs and ad-hoc tasks as required overnight.
- Control guest flow to ensure only hotel guests are allowed in the property.
Our 5-star candidate has:
- Preferably, 1+ year of experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in apart-hotel or operations roles.
- Passionate customer service-driven attitude for delivering world-class guest experiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively anticipate and address potential operational issues
- Flexibility to travel between different properties across Amsterdam, preferably by bike.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Fluency in English.
- Preferably based in Amsterdam.
